I'm a member of the Berkeley
Bioinformatics Open-Source Projects group
at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Currently, I'm the project manager for OBO-Edit,
an ontology editing tool that was written by John Day-Richter.
Originally designed for the
Gene Ontology project,
OBO-Edit is now used by a variety of ontologies, not all of which are biomedical.
From 2002-2006, I worked on the Apollo Genome
Annotation and Curation Tool--download it now!
Apollo is part of the Generic Model Organism
Database Construction Set (GMOD)
I wrote Genotator: A workbench for sequence
annotation back in 1996-7. Amazingly, some people still use it.
